About the Hongge Men's Complete Golf Club Set with Stand Bag

The Hongge Men's Complete Golf Club Set is a full starter package for men, pairing a set of clubs with a stand bag in white. It covers the basics a new golfer needs to get on the course without buying clubs one at a time. At $309.99 at Macy's as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what complete sets cost, well below name-brand starter sets that often run $500 and up. Only one store currently lists it new, so there is no price competition to shop around for.

Best forMen buying their first set of clubsCasual and occasional golfersGolfers who want one purchase with a carry bag includedGift buyers on a tight budget
Pros
  • Complete set: driver through putter in one box
  • Stand bag included, so no separate bag purchase
  • Low price for a full set at $309.99
  • White bag and clubs are easy to spot on the rack or course
Cons
  • Little-known brand with no track record to check
  • Only one store lists it, so no price comparison
  • Budget sets usually use basic shafts and grips
  • No club-by-club specs given, so flex and loft are unclear
  • Resale value will be low compared with major brands

    • Questions and answers

Is this set worth it for a beginner?
For a first set, yes. It gives you every club plus a stand bag for $309.99 at Macy's as of November 3, 2026, which is far less than assembling a set club by club. Expect basic components rather than premium shafts and grips.
What clubs are in the set?
The listing describes it as a complete men's set with a stand bag but does not itemize the clubs. Confirm the exact makeup, especially whether a sand wedge and hybrid are included, before buying.
How does it compare with a name-brand starter set?
Major-brand starter sets typically cost several hundred dollars more but come with known shaft flexes, better grips and warranty support. This set wins on price; the brands win on quality control and resale.
Is the bag a stand bag or a cart bag?
It is a stand bag, so it has legs for carrying and works on a cart too. That suits walkers and range sessions.
When is the best time to buy it?
Golf sets usually drop in late fall and winter, and around Father's Day promotions. With only one store listing it, watch that store's price rather than waiting for a competing offer.
