Our take on the Gymax Men's Left-Handed Complete Golf Set with Stand Bag

The Gymax Men's Left-Handed Complete Golf Set is a full starter kit for left-handed players, bundled with a stand bag in blue. It covers the clubs a beginner needs in one purchase, which matters because left-handed sets are far less common and usually cost more. At $205.99 at Target as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. Treat it as a budget entry set rather than a long-term upgrade.

Pros
  • Complete set with bag in one purchase
  • Left-handed configuration, which is scarce at this price
  • Stand bag included, so no separate bag cost
  • Low entry price for a full set
  • Blue colorway is easy to spot on the rack
Cons
  • Generic brand with little published spec detail
  • Starter-grade shafts and grips wear faster than name brands
  • No club-by-club flex or loft information listed
  • Resale value is low compared with major brands
  • Only one store lists it new, so price shopping is limited

Questions and answers

Is this set worth it for a beginner?
Yes, if you are left-handed and want to start playing without spending much. It covers the basic clubs and includes a bag. Plan to replace it once your swing settles.
Does it come with a putter and driver?
It is sold as a complete set with a stand bag, which normally means woods, irons, wedges and a putter. Confirm the exact club list on the listing before buying.
Is it right-handed or left-handed?
It is built for left-handed men. Right-handed players should look for the matching right-handed version instead.
How does it compare with name-brand starter sets?
Name brands like Callaway and Cobra cost more but publish shaft flex and loft details and hold resale value. This set wins on price only.
When is the price likely to be lowest?
Complete sets usually drop during spring golf promotions and end-of-season clearance. At $205.99 at Target as of November 3, 2026, it is already near the bottom of the starter-set market.
What is in the box?
The clubs and a stand bag. Head covers and a rain hood are common in sets like this but are not confirmed here, so check the listing.
Where is the Gymax Men's Left-Handed Complete Golf Set with Stand Bag cheapest?
At Target, for $205.99, 60% off, as of our latest check.
