About the LUCID 6 Inch Firm Gel Memory Foam Twin XL

The LUCID 6 Inch Gel Memory Foam is a low-profile foam mattress in Twin XL, built for bunk beds, trundles, sofa beds and guest setups where a standard 10-inch mattress won't fit. The gel-infused memory foam layer is meant to sleep cooler than plain memory foam, and the firm feel gives more support than the plush foam mattresses usually sold at this thickness. The best new price is $111.97 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, with 2 stores listing it new. That is near the low end of what this mattress has sold for recently, so the current price is a good one for a thin foam mattress.

Pros

  • Gel-infused foam is designed to sleep cooler than standard memory foam

  • Low price for a foam mattress at $111.97 at eBay as of November 4, 2026

  • Not a good pick as a primary mattress for adults who want depth and pressure relief

What reviewers say

With a 4.5 out of 5 average from about 1,500 ratings, owners mostly treat this as a solid budget mattress for bunks, guest rooms and sofa beds. Praise centers on the firm support and the low profile fitting tight frames. Complaints tend to be about firmness and thinness rather than durability.

Pros

  • Fits bunk beds and trundles where thicker mattresses won't
  • Lightweight and easy to move and set up
  • Good value for guest and kids' rooms
Cons
  • Firmer than some buyers expected
  • Too thin for heavier sleepers
  • Can sleep warm for some owners
  • Less pressure relief than thicker foam mattresses

Questions and answers

Is the LUCID 6 Inch Firm mattress worth it?
For a bunk bed, trundle, sofa bed or guest room, yes. At $111.97 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it costs far less than a standard mattress and fits frames a 10-inch mattress won't. As a daily mattress for a heavy adult, spend more.
How firm is it really?
It is genuinely firm. The 6-inch foam core has little give, so it suits back and stomach sleepers and kids better than side sleepers who want cushioning.
Does it fit a standard Twin XL frame?
Yes. It is a Twin XL, so it fits Twin XL bed frames, adjustable bases and dorm beds. Check your bunk or trundle frame's height limit before buying, since the 6-inch profile is the point.
Does the gel foam sleep cool?
The gel infusion helps compared with plain memory foam, but a 6-inch foam mattress still traps some heat. Hot sleepers should use a breathable mattress protector and a firm, airy base.
What's in the box?
The mattress arrives compressed and rolled in a box. Unroll it on the frame and give it 24 to 72 hours to expand fully; some foam odor may fade over the first few days.
When is it cheapest?
Thin foam mattresses like this one drop most during back-to-school and holiday sales. The current $111.97 at eBay as of November 4, 2026 is already near its recent low, so waiting is unlikely to save much.
