Is the Turin TrekBrew worth it at $89?

At $89.00 it is cheap for a machine that combines a grinder, pump and steam wand. That price has only been recorded once, on November 2, 2026, so there is no history showing whether it drops lower.

Does it use pods or ground coffee?

Both. It is pod compatible and has a built-in grinder, so you can use capsules or grind beans fresh for each shot.

Yes. It has a steam wand, so you can make lattes and cappuccinos, not just straight espresso.

How does it make pressure?

It uses a pump rather than steam pressure, which is the approach real espresso machines use. That matters for crema and consistent shots.

Is it fully automatic?

It is listed as automatic with a pump drive, meaning the machine handles the brewing cycle. You still load coffee or a pod and manage the milk steaming yourself.

What comes in the box?

The listing does not spell out included accessories. Check the box contents for a portafilter, tamper, cup and power or charging cable before buying.
