Is the Leera rug worth $229.97?

At $229.97 at CB2 as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable price for a handloomed 6'x9' wool-blend rug with stain resistance. Comparable performance rugs often cost more, but you are paying full price at the only store that stocks it new.

Does the stain-resistant finish actually work?

The synthetic portion of the wool blend is treated to resist stains, so blotting spills promptly should lift most of them. It is not waterproof, and red wine or oil left overnight can still leave a mark.

Wool-blend handloomed rugs typically shed loose fibers for the first few months. Vacuum without a beater bar and the shedding should taper off.

What size room does a 6'x9' rug fit?

A 6'x9' rug works under a sofa and coffee table in a small to mid-size living room, or under a six-seat dining table with chairs pulled out. Measure your furniture footprint before ordering.

Is it safe on hardwood floors?

The rug has no attached backing, so add a rug pad to keep it from sliding and to protect the floor finish. A pad also adds cushioning.

When is the best time to buy it?

CB2 discounts rugs during seasonal sales and holiday events. If you are not in a hurry, watch for a sitewide markdown rather than buying at the current $229.97.
