Questions and answers

Does the CB2 Russell king bed need a box spring?

No. The bed ships with slats, so a mattress can sit directly on the frame. A box spring is optional and would raise the mattress height.

How much storage do the drawers hold?

The bed has built-in under-bed drawers, which are useful for linens, off-season clothing or extra bedding. Exact drawer dimensions are not listed, so measure your space before ordering.

Is $1,599.91 a good price for this bed?

It is the only new price listed as of November 6, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare it with. Check whether CB2 is running a furniture promotion before you buy.

What mattress size fits it?

It is a king-size bed, so it takes a standard king mattress, typically 76 by 80 inches. Confirm the mattress depth you plan to use against the headboard height.

How is the velvet cleaned?

Velvet should be vacuumed with a soft brush attachment and spot-cleaned gently. Avoid harsh cleaners, which can flatten the pile or leave marks.

Where is the CB2 Russell Velvet Upholstered King Storage Bed cheapest?

At CB2, for $1,599.91, as of our latest check.
