Is the CB2 Leonore rug worth $549.97?

It is a handloomed wool rug, which explains the price; machine-made 5'x8' rugs typically cost far less. Whether it is worth it depends on how much you value the handloomed texture and natural fiber.

What size is the Leonore rug?

This listing is the 5'x8' size. Check the product page for other sizes if you need a runner or a larger rug.

What is the rug made of?

It is wool, handloomed rather than machine-made. Wool is durable and naturally resistant to dirt, but it can shed at first.

How should I clean a handloomed wool rug?

Vacuum regularly without a beater bar, blot spills promptly and have it professionally cleaned. Avoid machine washing.

Does the rug need a pad?

A rug pad is recommended on hard floors to prevent slipping and add cushioning. It also helps the rug wear evenly.

When is the best time to buy it?

CB2 runs seasonal sales, often around major holidays. Watch the price history to see whether $549.97 is above or below its usual level.
