Is $899.97 a good price for this rug?

It is the only new price listed, $899.97 at CB2 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no competing store to beat it. For a hand-knotted 8'x10' wool rug, that is in line with mid-market hand-knotted pricing.

How thick is the Sierra rug?

The pile is 0.75 inches, which is plush enough to feel soft underfoot but still lets doors clear it in most rooms. A thin rug pad adds grip without much extra height.

Will the warm white color stain easily?

Yes, light wool shows spills and foot traffic. Blot spills right away with a damp cloth and have it professionally cleaned every year or two.

Does a hand-knotted wool rug shed?

New hand-knotted wool sheds loose fibers for the first few months. Vacuum gently without a beater bar and the shedding settles down.

What size room does an 8'x10' rug fit?

It suits most living rooms with the front legs of sofas and chairs on the rug, and it works under a queen bed with room on each side.

Yes. A pad keeps the rug from sliding on hard floors, protects the knots from wear, and adds a little cushioning.
