Is the HP OmniBook 3 good for everyday use?

Yes for browsing, email, video and schoolwork. The Core 3 chip and 8 GB of RAM struggle with heavy multitasking or creative apps.

Can the RAM or storage be upgraded?

Check the exact configuration before buying. Listings show both 128 GB and 256 GB drive figures, so confirm the SSD size and whether memory is soldered.

Does it have a backlit keyboard and facial recognition?

Yes. Both a backlit keyboard and facial recognition login are included.

How long does the battery really last?

HP rates it at up to 22 hours. Expect noticeably less with brightness up and video streaming.

Is $429.99 a good price?

It is the best new price among the three stores that carry it as of November 7, 2026, and sits at the low end of its recent range.

Is the screen good for outdoor use?

The no-glare Full HD panel helps in bright rooms, but 1920x1080 on 17.3 inches is not especially sharp.
