Owners of soft roll-up covers in this class generally like the easy bed access and low profile, but note that soft tops let in some water and do little against theft.

Questions and answers

Will it fit my truck?
It fits Ram 1500 and 2500 models with a 6.5-foot bed in the listed year and cab ranges. Check your cab style and bed length before ordering, since other combinations use different part numbers.
Is it waterproof?
No. It has standard weather sealing that keeps most rain out, but expect minor seepage at the tailgate and corners in heavy rain or car washes.
Can I open the tailgate with the cover closed?
Yes. The cover latches at the rear and rolls forward from the tailgate, so the tailgate opens independently.
How much does it cost?
The best new price is $315.99 at CarParts.com as of November 6, 2026, with three stores listing it new.
Is it hard to install?
No. It weighs 27 lbs and uses clamp-on side rails, so basic hand tools are enough for most owners.
Does it lock?
The rear latch secures the cover, but a soft top can be cut, so it is not a true security cover.
Where is the Access Tonnosport Roll-Up Cover 22040179 cheapest?
At CarParts.com, for $315.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Access Tonnosport Roll-Up Cover 22040179?
5 stores we checked sell it, including eBay, CarParts.com, Truck Outfitters Plus, NAPA Auto Parts, Radco Truck Accessories.
