Is the Addi Express Professional worth it?

Yes if you make lots of hats, scarves or cowls and want speed. It is a poor fit if you want fitted sweaters or complex stitch patterns.

How does it compare with the Addi Express Kingsize?

The Kingsize has 46 needles and makes much wider pieces, including blankets. The Professional's 22 needles are better for hats and narrower tubes.

What yarns work best in it?

Worsted to bulky weights feed most reliably. Very thin yarn tends to drop stitches, and fuzzy yarns can jam the needles.

What comes in the box?

The machine, a table clamp, a needle and basic instructions. Yarn and a counter are not included.

Can it knit flat panels?

Yes, in a limited way. You can work back and forth for flat pieces, but shaping and seaming are up to you.

It rarely gets deep discounts. Watch for holiday sales and bundle listings, since the current $94.00 at Amazon is on the high side of its range.

Our take on the addiExpress Professional Knitting Machine

The Addi Express Professional is a hand-cranked circular knitting machine with a 22-needle cylinder. It turns out tubes, flat panels and simple shaped pieces far faster than hand knitting. It suits hats, scarves, cowls and quick gifts rather than fitted garments. At $94.00 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it sits near the top of its recent range, so it is not a bargain moment.
