Questions and answers

Is the Alpha Joy griddle worth it?
For small households and casual backyard cooking, yes. It offers 450 square inches and 33,000 BTUs at a low price, but it is not built for large parties.
How many people can it cook for?
About four to six. The 450-square-inch surface fits roughly a dozen burgers or a full breakfast for a family at once.
Does it come with a propane tank?
No. It runs on standard propane, but the tank and hose are not listed as included, so plan to supply your own.
How hard is assembly?
Assembly is required and owners report it takes some time. Set aside an hour and have a second person help with the body and legs.
How do I clean the griddle top?
Scrape off food residue while the surface is still warm, then wipe it down. The grease cup and drip pan catch runoff and lift out for washing.
When is it cheapest?
Griddles like this tend to drop around spring grilling sales and end-of-summer clearance. Check the price history before buying.
What do buyers say about the Alpha Joy 3-Burner Outdoor Propane Gas Griddle 33,000-BTU?
