Our take on the Ameristep Doghouse Ground Blind

The Ameristep Doghouse is a two-person hub-style ground blind with a 60 x 60 inch footprint and 66 inches of headroom, so two hunters can sit with bows or crossbows and still draw. Eight window openings let you set the shooting lanes you need, and the Durashell Plus shell with ShadowGuard interior cuts glare and keeps you dark inside. It weighs 12 lb and packs into a backpack case with high-wind tie-downs and stakes included. At $87.00 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of what this blind has sold for recently, so it is a strong time to buy.
