Questions and answers

Is the iPad (A16) worth it over the iPad Air?
If you want the lowest price for a fast 11-inch iPad, yes. The Air adds the M-series chip, a 120Hz screen and support for the newer Pencil Pro, which matter mainly for drawing and heavy apps.
Does this model work with the Apple Pencil?
It supports the USB-C Apple Pencil and the first-generation Apple Pencil with a USB-C adapter. It does not support the Pencil Pro.
How much battery life should I expect?
Apple rates it at 10 hours of web browsing or video. Owners report roughly a full day of classes or travel use, less with heavy gaming or 5G.
Do I need a separate data plan for the cellular model?
Yes. The 5G model takes a carrier eSIM plan, sold separately from the device. You can also use it on Wi-Fi only.
What is in the box?
The iPad, a USB-C charging cable and a 20W power adapter. The keyboard case and Pencil are sold separately.
