Is the Ariens snow cab worth it?

If you clear snow in wind or wet, blowing snow, it is the cheapest way to stay dry and keep your face clear. On calm, short driveways the benefit is smaller.

Will it fit my Ariens snowblower?

It fits CLASSIC, COMPACT, DELUXE, PLATINUM, SNO-TEK and POWER BRUSH two-stage models. If your machine has a trigger on the right handlebar, you also need the trigger adapter.

Does it come with everything needed to install?

The kit includes the mounting frame, fabric shell, hardware and instructions. The trigger adapter for trigger models is not included.

The assembled cab measures about 36 inches long, 32 inches wide and 50 inches high. Check that against your storage space and garage door height.

Can I leave it on the snowblower all winter?

Yes. The steel frame is powder-coated and the shell is weatherproof, so it is built to stay outdoors through the season. Remove it for summer storage to protect the windows.

When is the price lowest?

Snow cab prices tend to dip in late winter and early spring as stores clear stock, and rise in late fall. The best new price was $163.95 at Mowtown Lochen Equipment as of November 4, 2026.
