Pros
  • Slats included, so no box spring is needed
  • Wingback upholstered headboard adds back support for sitting up
  • Metal frame aimed at heavier loads and less squeaking than wood
  • Neutral beige linen suits many bedroom styles
  • Standard queen footprint fits common queen mattresses and bedding
Cons
  • Frame only: mattress, box spring and bedding cost extra
  • Linen upholstery stains and needs spot cleaning
  • Metal frames can still creak if bolts loosen over time
  • Assembly with a headboard takes longer than a plain platform frame
  • Only 45 ratings at 4 out of 5, so the track record is thin

Questions and answers

Do I need a box spring with this bed frame?
No. The frame includes slats, so a queen mattress can sit directly on them. A box spring would only add height.
Is a mattress included?
No. This is the frame and headboard only. You supply a queen mattress and bedding.
Will a standard queen mattress fit?
Yes. The frame is 60.3 inches wide and 81.9 inches long, which matches standard queen mattress dimensions.
How sturdy is the metal frame?
Asofer markets it as heavy duty, and owners generally call it solid. Check the listed weight capacity and tighten bolts after the first few weeks.
How hard is assembly?
It takes two people and roughly an hour or more because of the headboard. Most buyers manage it with the included hardware.
When is the price lowest?
No current price was available to compare against its history. Watch for seasonal sales events and price-drop alerts before buying.
