Our take on the ASOPIX PVC Coated Dumbbell Set

The ASOPIX PVC Coated Dumbbell Set is a metal-plate dumbbell set with a PVC coating, sold as a single set at one store. The coating protects floors and cuts clanking compared with bare metal plates. At $60.99 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Questions and answers

Is $60.99 a good price for this set?
Wayfair lists it at $60.99 as of November 5, 2026, and it is the only new price on record. With no other stores or past prices to compare, judge it against the set's total weight and plate count.
What is the difference between PVC coated and rubber coated plates?
PVC is a harder plastic shell; rubber is softer and grips floors better but costs more. Both protect floors and reduce noise compared with bare metal.
Are the plates metal or plastic?
The plates are metal with a PVC coating over them. The metal core gives the weight; the coating protects floors and hands.
Can the coating crack if I drop the dumbbells?
PVC coatings can crack or peel when weights are dropped on hard floors. Set them down rather than dropping them to keep the coating intact.
What weights are included in the set?
The listing does not state the plate weights or total set weight. Check the product page for the included plates before buying.
Where is the ASOPIX PVC Coated Dumbbell Set cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $60.99, as of our latest check.
