Our take on the Soozier Set of 2 Hex Dumbbell Weights

This is a pair of 15 lb hex dumbbells with rubber-coated heads and non-slip handles, sold as a set of two. The hex shape keeps them from rolling between sets, and the rubber coating is meant to protect floors and hold up to regular drops. At $44.99 at Target as of November 5, 2026, the set works out to about $22.50 per dumbbell, which is low for rubber hex weights at this size.

Questions and answers

Is $44.99 a good price for this pair?
Yes. At $44.99 at Target as of November 5, 2026, that is about $22.50 per 15 lb rubber hex dumbbell, which is low for this type. Comparable rubber hex pairs usually cost more per dumbbell.
Are these good for beginners?
Yes for warm-ups, lateral raises, curls and light pressing. If you plan to squat or row seriously, 15 lb per hand will feel light within weeks.
Will the hex shape really stop them rolling?
Yes. The flat sides let them rest without rolling, which matters on smooth floors and in crowded home gyms.
Do they come as a pair?
Yes. The set includes two 15 lb dumbbells, 30 lb total.
Will the rubber coating damage my floors?
The rubber coating is designed to protect floors and resist chipping, but dropping them hard on wood or tile can still mark the surface. Use a mat for overhead or heavy work.
Can I use these without a rack?
Yes. No stand is included, but the hex heads sit flat on the floor, so a rack is optional.
