Our take on the Astoria Grand Liberatore 54" W Console Table

The Liberatore is a 54-inch-wide console table from Astoria Grand, built for entryways, hallways and living room walls. It pairs a faux marble top with a red wood cherry finish and stands 30 inches tall with a 20-inch depth. The wide, shallow footprint fits a wall without crowding a walkway. Questions and answers

Is the Liberatore console table worth it?
It depends on the price you find. A 54-inch faux marble console is a practical size for an entryway, but faux marble is a budget material, so compare against solid wood and veneer tables at the same price.
Does the faux marble top scratch easily?
Faux marble is a laminate or resin surface. It handles everyday use and wipes clean, but sharp objects and hot pans can mark it, so use coasters and a tray.
Will a 54-inch table fit my hallway?
Measure the wall and the walkway first. At 54 inches wide and 20 inches deep, it needs a wall of at least 54 inches and leaves the remaining floor width for foot traffic.
What color is the red wood cherry finish?
It is a warm reddish-brown wood tone. It reads warmer and redder than walnut or espresso, so check it against your flooring and trim before ordering.
How tall should a console table be?
Thirty inches is a standard console height. It sits below most wall art and mirrors and works with lamps around 20 to 26 inches tall.
When is the best time to buy it?
Watch the price history for dips around major furniture sales and holiday weekends. Console tables in this style often discount then.
