Our take on the Auoshi GPS Drone with Camera for Adults 4K 3-Axis Gimbal & Eis

The Auoshi GPS Drone is a foldable camera drone aimed at adults, with a 4K camera on a 3-axis mechanical gimbal plus EIS stabilization, and a remote controller with a built-in 4.3-inch screen so you can fly without a phone. It adds GPS return modes, Follow Me, Orbit and Waypoint flight, optical flow positioning and two batteries for up to 60 minutes total flight. Its listed price is $229.99 at Walmart as of October 28, 2026, which is also the only price seen in its recent range, so there is no discount history to judge against yet.

Questions and answers

Is the Auoshi GPS drone worth it for a beginner?
It covers the basics beginners need: GPS return modes, altitude hold, optical flow positioning and a screen controller. The low speed and short range make it a practice drone rather than a long-term upgrade.
Does it really shoot 4K?
The listing says 4K, but budget drones in this class often interpolate from a lower native resolution. Check sample footage before buying if video quality is your priority.
How long can it fly on one battery?
Each of the two included 7.4V 1600mAh batteries is rated for up to 30 minutes. Real flight time is usually shorter with wind and camera use, so expect closer to 20 minutes per battery.
Do I need a smartphone to fly it?
No. The remote has a built-in 4.3-inch screen for the live view. A memory card and card reader are included for saving footage.
What comes in the box?
The drone with one battery, the screen remote controller, a second battery, a screwdriver, a card reader and a memory card.
When is the best time to buy it?
The only recorded price is $229.99 at Walmart as of October 28, 2026, so there is no lower price to wait for yet. Watch for holiday sales, when budget drones usually drop.
Is the Auoshi GPS Drone with Camera for Adults 4K 3-Axis Gimbal & Eis at its lowest price?
The lowest price we've seen is $229.99 at Walmart on October 28.
