Is $304.99 a good price for this console table?

It is the only new price listed, $304.99 at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, so there is no competing new listing to beat it. Comparable French Provincial consoles in solid and manufactured wood usually run $250 to $400, which puts this in the middle of the range.

How wide and deep is it, and will it fit my hallway?

It is 46.8 inches wide, 31.2 inches high and 11.7 inches deep. The shallow depth is the selling point: it needs under a foot of floor space, so a 36-inch-wide hallway still leaves room to pass.

No. It is built from solid and manufactured wood, so expect a solid wood frame with engineered panels. Keep it out of bathrooms and away from direct sun, since manufactured wood swells with moisture.

Does it have drawers or a shelf?

The listed specs show a plain console top with no drawers or lower shelf. Plan on using baskets or bins underneath if you need hidden storage.

How does it compare with a typical farmhouse console?

It is narrower than most farmhouse consoles, which are often 15 to 16 inches deep, and its turned legs and distressed finish lean more French Country than industrial farmhouse. Choose it for tight spaces and traditional decor.

When is it likely to be cheapest?

Furniture discounts cluster around Black Friday, Presidents' Day and end-of-season clearance. With only one new listing, watch that Wayfair price for a drop rather than expecting a store-to-store price war.

Our take on the Baxton Studio Ophelia Rustic French Provincial Console Table

The Baxton Studio Ophelia is a narrow console table in a rustic French Provincial style, with turned legs and a weathered two-tone finish. It measures 46.8 inches wide, 31.2 inches high and just 11.7 inches deep, so it fits hallways and entryways where a standard 16-inch-deep console would crowd the walkway. The frame is solid and manufactured wood rather than all solid hardwood. Its only new price is $304.99 at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, with no other new listings to compare against.
