Questions and answers

Is this a good first drum set for a child?

Yes, for a young beginner it covers the basics: bass, snare, tom and cymbal. Expect a small sound and basic hardware, not gig-ready quality.

What is included in the box?

The kit lists a bass drum, mounted tom, snare and cymbal. A throne, sticks and bass pedal are not listed, so check before buying or plan to add them.

What age is this kit for?

It is sold as a kids' kit, so it suits roughly early elementary ages. Check the drum and stand heights against your child, since sizing varies by brand.

Is $96.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed as of November 7, 2026, at Target, so there is no recent range to judge against. Similar kids' kits often sell for $100 to $200.

Can an adult play this kit?

No. It is kid-sized, so an adult will find the drums and stands too low and cramped.

Where is the Beginner 3-Piece Drum Set with Cymbal, Tom and Bass Drum cheapest?

At Target, for $96.99, as of our latest check.
