Questions and answers

Is the Berthmeer rug really washable?
Yes, it is listed as washable and easy care. An 8' x 10' rug usually needs a large front-load machine or a commercial laundromat, and air drying is safest.
Does it need a rug pad?
No. It has a non-slip backing, so a separate pad is optional. A thin pad can still add cushioning on hard floors.
What is it made of?
It is made from synthetic fiber, not wool. That keeps the price down and makes it easier to clean, but the pile feels less soft.
Will an 8' x 10' rug fit my living room?
An 8' x 10' rug fits most living rooms with the front legs of sofas and chairs on it. Measure your seating area first, since the rug runs slightly smaller than its nominal size.
Is the gray color true to the photos?
The gray is a muted, slightly distressed tone. Some owners say it reads a little different from the listing photos, so check the return policy before buying.
What do buyers say about the Berthmeer Vintage Oriental Area Rug 8x10'?
