Questions and answers

Is this a good piano for a beginner?
Yes. It has 88 weighted keys and three pedals, so a beginner learns on the same layout as an acoustic. The action is heavier than premium boards, but it builds finger strength.
Does it work with piano learning apps?
It has MIDI Out and USB Out, so it can connect to a computer or tablet for apps and recording. There is no MIDI In, so it cannot act as a sound module for another controller.
Can I practice without disturbing anyone?
Yes. There is a headphone jack, and the built-in speakers can be silenced for private practice.
How big is it and how much space does it need?
It is 54 in wide, 13.5 in deep and 31 in tall, and weighs 54.5 lb. Plan on a permanent spot rather than moving it between rooms.
What comes in the box?
The piano, its legs and the three-pedal unit are included. A bench and headphones are not listed, so budget for those separately.
When is the best time to buy it?
At $319.99 at Target as of November 3, 2026, it is already near the bottom of its recent range. Holiday sales are the main chance of a further drop.
