Is the ProHeat 2X Pet Pro worth it for pet owners?

Yes, if you have carpet and recurring pet accidents. The heated cleaning and rotating brushes handle stains and odors better than basic spray-and-vacuum cleaners. Skip it if your home is mostly hard floor.

How is it different from the standard ProHeat 2X?

The Pet Pro version adds pet-focused tools and the same ProHeat and Dual DirtLifter brush system. The core cleaning performance is similar; the extras target pet messes.

How long does the carpet take to dry?

Bissell rates Express Clean Mode at about 30 minutes. Normal deep-clean passes leave carpet damp longer, so plan for a few hours of drying.

What comes in the box?

The cleaner, a Rinse & Storage Tray, and Bissell cleaning formula sample. Check the listing for included attachments, since bundles vary.

Carpet cleaners usually drop during spring cleaning sales and Black Friday. As of November 4, 2026, the best new price is $189 at eBay.

Our take on the Bissell ProHeat 2X Pet Pro

The Bissell ProHeat 2X Pet Pro is an upright carpet cleaner built for homes with pets. It heats the cleaning solution, runs 12 rows of rotating Dual DirtLifter PowerBrushes, and uses dual tanks to keep clean and dirty water apart. Express Clean Mode is rated to dry carpets in about 30 minutes. At $189 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.
