Our take on the Brilliance Advanced Face & Body Tanning Kit F71T12 100-120W (24-pack)

This is a 24-pack of Brilliance F71T12 bi-pin tanning lamps: 100 W, 125 V, G13 medium bi-pin base, T38 tube about 40.5 mm across. Each lamp is rated for 1,000 hours and puts out 29.0 W of UV-A when new, dropping to 27.5 W at 100 hours. The pack suits salon owners or heavy home users replacing a full bed at once. At $402.95 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Replacing lamps on a 1,000-hour schedule
Pros
  • 24 lamps cover a full bed in one order
  • Consistent 100 W, 125 V spec across the pack
  • UV-A output stays close to rated level through 100 hours
  • Standard G13 bi-pin base fits common F71 fixtures
  • Published mercury content (14 mg) makes disposal rules clear
Cons
  • $402.95 is a large one-time outlay
  • Only one new price listed, so no price competition
  • 1,000-hour rated life means frequent replacement for busy salons
  • UV-A output fades over life, so output drops before lamps fail
  • No reflector or protective sleeve included

Questions and answers

How often do these lamps need replacing?
The rated life is 1,000 hours. A salon running beds several hours a day will hit that in a few months, while a light home user may get a year or more. Replace on hours used, not when a lamp stops lighting.
Will these fit my tanning bed?
They fit fixtures that take F71T12 lamps with a G13 medium bi-pin base and 125 V ballast. Check your bed's lamp code and voltage before ordering. The tube is about 40.5 mm in diameter.
Is the 24-pack worth it over buying singles?
A full bed usually takes 24 or more lamps, and mixing old and new lamps gives uneven tanning. Buying the pack keeps output consistent. At $402.95 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so compare per-lamp cost against any local supplier.
How much UV-A do these lamps give off?
29.0 W of UV-A when new, easing to 27.5 W at 100 hours. Output keeps declining with age, which is why salons track hours and relamp on schedule.
What is in the box?
24 F71T12 lamps. No sleeves, reflectors or mounting hardware are included.
When is the best time to buy?
Tanning lamp prices tend to dip in late spring and summer, outside peak salon season. With only one new listing at $402.95 as of November 4, 2026, watch for a second seller to appear before assuming a discount.
