Our take on the Brilliance Advanced Face & Body Tanning Kit F71T12 100-120W Bipin Tanning Lamps (24)

This is a 24-pack of Brilliance F71T12 bi-pin tanning lamps for face and body tanning beds and booths. Each lamp is a 100 W T38 tube with a G13 medium bi-pin base, 125 V operation at 0.97 A, and a rated life of 1,000 hours. UV-A output is 29.0 W at 0 hours and 27.5 W at 100 hours, so output drops modestly as the lamps age. The best new price is $402.95 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026, from the only store listing it new; that works out to about $16.79 per lamp.

Pros
  • Full 24-lamp set covers a standard bed in one order
  • Matches common F71T12 100 W bi-pin beds
  • Low UV-A depreciation: 29.0 W to 27.5 W over the first 100 hours
  • 1,000-hour rated life is typical for this lamp class
  • About $16.79 per lamp at the listed price
Cons
  • Only one store lists it new, so there is no price competition
  • $402.95 is a large single outlay versus buying lamps in smaller packs
  • Output falls off with hours, so a full set needs replacing together
  • Contains 14.0 mg of mercury per lamp, which needs proper disposal
  • 100 W lamps fit only beds rated for that wattage, not 160 W or 200 W units

Questions and answers

Is this kit worth it compared with buying lamps singly?
At $402.95 for 24 lamps, it is about $16.79 each, and a matched set keeps tanning output even across the bed. If you only need a few lamps, smaller packs may cost less overall.
Will these fit my tanning bed?
They fit beds that take F71T12 lamps with a G13 medium bi-pin base and 100 W rating. Check your bed's label first; 160 W or 200 W beds need different lamps.
How often should the lamps be replaced?
Rated life is 1,000 hours, and UV-A output drops from 29.0 W to 27.5 W in the first 100 hours. Most owners relamp a full bed at once when hours run out or tanning slows.
What is in the box?
The kit is 24 Brilliance F71T12 tanning lamps. No starters or fixtures are included; these are the tubes only.
When is the price lowest?
Only one store lists it new, at $402.95 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026, so there is little price movement to wait for. Compare the per-lamp cost against smaller packs before buying.
