Is Carrara Bianco a real stone or laminate?

It is high-pressure laminate printed with a granite pattern, not stone. The surface is a resin-impregnated paper layer over a core.

What size sheet do I get?

One sheet measuring 5 ft by 12 ft (1300 mm by 3050 mm). Thickness options run from 6 mm to 20 mm depending on the grade ordered.

Can I use it for a kitchen countertop?

Yes. It is postform grade, so it can be glued to a substrate and bent around a rounded edge. Use trivets, since laminate is not heat-proof.

How do I finish the edges?

Use matching Formica edge trim or color-matched Seamfil for seams. Both are sold separately.

Is the matte finish hard to keep clean?

No. The Satin matte finish wipes clean with a damp cloth and hides fingerprints better than gloss.

What reviewers say

Buyers of Formica stone-look laminates generally rate the surface as durable and easy to clean, and the Carrara Bianco pattern reads convincingly as light marble. Complaints center on edge finishing and heat sensitivity rather than the sheet itself.
