Is the $35 sample worth it?

It is worth it if you want to see both Polished and Matte finishes in your own kitchen light before ordering slabs. If you only need a rough color check, a free showroom chip may be enough.

Will my slab look like the sample?

Not exactly. Quartz veining varies from slab to slab, and a 6x10 sample shows only a small part of a 132 x 65.5 inch slab. Ask to see the actual slab or a larger sample before you commit.
