Questions and answers

Is this bed worth $337.07?

For a solid wood full platform bed with a headboard, that is a reasonable price. It saves the cost of a box spring, but check the frame thickness and slat count before buying.

Does it need a box spring?

No. It is a platform bed, so a mattress sits directly on the slats. A box spring would only add height.

What mattress thickness works with it?

A standard full mattress, roughly 8 to 12 inches thick, sits well with the headboard. Very thick mattresses may hide part of the headboard.

Is a full size the same as a double?

Yes. Full and double both mean 54 by 75 inches. It fits one adult comfortably or two smaller sleepers.

What is in the box?

The shipment includes the headboard, side rails, footboard, slats and hardware. Mattress and bedding are sold separately.

When is the price lowest?

Bed frames often drop during holiday sales and back-to-school events. With one store listing it, watch Lowe's for markdowns rather than expecting cross-store competition.

Where is the CHITA Full Size Modern Wood Platform Bed with Guardrails Headboard cheapest?

At Lowe's, for $337.07, as of our latest check.
