Our take on the Chita Living Dane Deep Seat Sofa

The Chita Living Dane is an 87-inch modern sofa with an ultra-deep 26.7-inch seat, tufted back, and down-feather cushions wrapped in chenille-blend fabric. It seats three comfortably on a solid wood frame rated to 900 lbs, and the removable cushions make cleaning easier than fixed-seat designs. The best new price is $318.19 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, with two stores listing it new.

Questions and answers

Is the Chita Living Dane sofa worth it?
At $318.19 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is cheap for an 87-inch down-filled sofa. Expect to trade some back support and fabric durability for the low price.
How deep is the seat?
The seat is 26.7 inches deep and 18.5 inches high, so most adults can sit with legs stretched out. Shorter sitters may find it too deep to sit upright.
Do the cushions come off for cleaning?
Yes, the seat and back cushions are removable, and the covers are chenille-blend fabric. Check the care label before machine washing.
Will it fit in my living room?
It measures 87 inches long, 30 inches high, and the seat is 72.8 inches wide. Measure your wall and doorway first, since the deep frame is bulky.
How does it compare with a standard sofa?
A typical sofa has a seat depth around 22 inches; the Dane adds about 5 inches. That means more lounging room but less upright seating.
When is the best time to buy?
Prices on this model vary by store, so compare both new listings before buying. The $318.19 eBay price as of November 4, 2026 is the lowest new price seen.
