Power Swivel Glider: Designed with Mom’s comfort in mind, it swivels (270 degrees), glides, and reclines quietly and smoothly with a push of button.

Not An Average Nursery Chair: Although not quite visible, the patented Leggett & Platt mechanism really stands out. The mechanism passes 25,000-cycle life test and has a weight limit of 350 lbs. Powered mechanism also allows you to get up from the chair without waking up the baby in your arms.

Not An Eye Sore: Mom deserves beautiful things. Tired of husband’s boxy or chunky recliners? We heard you. Be prepared to receive compliments on this elegant low profile design with curved silhouette.

Bonus Features: Built-in USB charging ports for easy charging of your mobile devices. Fixed lumbar cushion offers extra support and keeps your room clean and tidy.

Safe & Sound: Foam is environmentally friendly and certified by CertiPUR-US, meaning it is made without PBDEs or Tris flame retardants, heavy metals, formaldehyde, etc. Engineered wood is EPA TSCA Title VI compliant. Actuator, adaptor and handset are certified by UL.

Simple Assembly & Warranty: Just slide the back into the seat and – Shoop! – you’re all set. You are also buckled up with our one-year warranty on mechanism and solid wood frame

Questions and answers

Is the Chita Power Swivel Glider Recliner worth it?
It packs power recline, a 270-degree swivel, a glider and USB/Type-C charging into one chair, which is a lot for a recliner near $700. If you want a nursery chair that also works in a living room, it is a reasonable buy. If you only need a basic glider, cheaper manual options exist.
How does it compare with a manual glider recliner?
The power mechanism reclines and lifts the footrest at the push of a button, so you can get up without waking a sleeping baby. Manual gliders cost less but need a handle pull or body weight to recline. The trade-off is the power chair needs an outlet nearby.
Does it need to be plugged in?
Yes. The recline actuator and the USB and Type-C ports run on household power through the included adapter, so place it near an outlet. The swivel and glide work without power.
What are the size and weight limits?
The Leggett & Platt mechanism is rated for up to 350 lbs. Chita sells standard and wide-seat versions; the wide version ships in two boxes instead of one. Check the seat width you need before ordering.
What is in the box and how hard is assembly?
The chair ships in one box for the standard size and two for the wide seat. Assembly means sliding the backrest into the seat, with no tools needed.
When is the price lowest?
The best new price seen is $693.49 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, with two stores listing it new. Furniture discounts cluster around Black Friday, Memorial Day and Labor Day, so compare both stores then.
