Our take on the Corrigan Studio 7 ft Faux Olive Tree in White Planter

A 7-foot artificial olive tree from Corrigan Studio, potted in a white planter and standing 23 inches wide. It is all plastic, so it needs no water, light or upkeep, and it fills a tall corner without the care a real olive tree demands indoors. Olive trees are slow, fussy houseplants; this one gives the same silvery-green look with zero maintenance. No current price was provided, so compare it against other 7-foot faux trees before buying.

Questions and answers

Is a 7-foot faux olive tree big enough for a living room?
At 84 inches tall and 23 inches wide, it suits a corner or beside a sofa where a real tree would be too much work. Check your ceiling height and the planter footprint before ordering.
Does it look real?
Olive foliage is naturally narrow and silvery, which faux versions copy reasonably well. Plastic leaves can look glossy under direct light, so place it where light is softer.
Do I need to assemble it?
Most faux trees this size ship with the trunk in sections and branches that need bending into shape. Expect a few minutes of fluffing the stems on arrival.
Can I use it outdoors?
It is plastic and potted for indoor floor placement. Sun and rain will fade and crack plastic over time, so keep it indoors or on a covered porch.
How do I clean it?
Dust the leaves with a microfiber cloth or a quick blast from a hair dryer on cool. Wipe the white planter with a damp cloth.
When is the best time to buy?
Faux trees often drop in price during holiday and clearance sales. Compare the current price with other 7-foot faux olive trees before buying.
