The Creality Ender 3 is an open-frame FDM 3D printer that comes as a kit you assemble yourself. It prints PLA and ABS on a heated bed within a 220 x 220 x 250 mm build volume, at layer heights from 0.1 to 0.4 mm and speeds around 100 mm/s, and works with Cura and OctoPrint over SD card or a USB connection. It is the entry-level machine that made budget printing mainstream, but it is dated: no auto bed leveling, no camera, a single extruder and a manual bed. The only new price found is $976.52 at creality.com as of November 5, 2026, far above what this printer has historically sold for, so it is a poor buy at that figure.
