Questions and answers

How does the no-drill mounting work?

It uses a tension or adhesive bracket that presses against the window frame or sash instead of screws. It works best on a clean, flat frame and is not meant for heavy, wide shades or rough surfaces.

Is it blackout?

No. It is a fabric Roman shade, so it filters light and gives privacy but lets some glow through. For a dark bedroom, pair it with a liner or choose a blackout shade.

Is it safe around kids and pets?

Yes. It is cordless, so there is no hanging loop or chain to tangle with. The lift is handled at the bottom rail.

What sizes and colors does it come in?

The Alfred line is offered in several widths and a striped fabric. Check the size chart against your window's inside width before ordering, since no-drill brackets need a snug fit.

Is $124.60 a good price?

Only Curtarra lists it at $124.60 as of November 7, 2026, so there is no competing store price to beat. Compare it with other no-drill Roman shades in the same width before deciding.

Can I use it outdoors or in a bathroom?

It is rated for indoor use. Steam and damp air can warp the fabric and weaken adhesive brackets, so it is not the best pick for a shower area.

Where is the Curtarra Alfred Stripe No Drill Roman Shades cheapest?

At Curtarra, for $124.60, as of our latest check.
