The DAYBETTER Solar Deck Lights are a 16-pack of small solar-powered step lights meant to mark deck edges, stairs and walkways without wiring. Each unit runs on a 2V solar panel, puts out about 3 lumens of warm white (3000K) light, and has an ABS housing with a red finish. Output is very low, so these are marker lights rather than area lighting. The 16-pack keeps the per-light cost low, which is the main draw for covering a long run of steps.
Lowest price we've seen: $19.99 on Nov 1 at Walmart. Tracked across 1 store since Nov 1.
The 3.4-out-of-5 average from 136 ratings points to a mixed reception. Owners tend to like the easy, wire-free setup and the warm glow, but many find the lights dimmer than expected and report uneven performance in shade or over time.
