Our take on the Deerc 1:8 Scale Monster Truck 4WD All Terrain RC Car with 2 Batteries

The Deerc DE60 is a 1:8 scale four-wheel-drive monster truck built for rough ground, sold with two LiPo batteries so run time isn't cut short by a single pack. It measures about 19.3 by 12.2 by 10.4 inches, so it is a large, heavy-duty toy rather than a tabletop basher. At $79.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of what 1:8 hobby-grade trucks usually cost, though only one store currently lists it new.

Best forFirst-time RC buyers who want a big truck without hobby-grade pricesBackyard and park running on grass, dirt and gravelFamilies sharing one car, thanks to the spare batteryGifts for kids old enough to handle a 1:8 vehicle
Pros
  • 1:8 scale body and big tires handle rough ground better than 1:10 and smaller cars
  • Four-wheel drive gives traction on grass, dirt and loose gravel
  • Two LiPo batteries roughly double run time versus a single-pack kit
  • Simple all-in-one package: car, radio and batteries included
  • Low price for the size at $79.99 at Walmart
Cons
  • Only one store prices it new, so there is little price competition
  • Large footprint needs open space; not suited to small yards or indoors
  • Toy-grade electronics and plastic parts limit durability and repairability
  • No listed top speed, run time or spare-part support
  • LiPo batteries need careful charging and storage

Pros
  • Big 1:8 size for the price
  • Two batteries keep the fun going
  • Handles grass and dirt well
Cons
  • Parts wear or break after hard bashes
  • Battery charge time is long
  • Steering and speed feel toy-grade

Questions and answers

Is the Deerc DE60 worth it?
At $79.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a lot of truck for the money: 1:8 scale, 4WD and two batteries. It suits casual bashing, not serious hobby use where spare parts matter.
How long does it run on a charge?
The listing does not state run time. With two LiPo packs you get two sessions per outing, and most trucks this size run roughly 15 to 25 minutes per pack depending on terrain and throttle.
Is it too big for a kid?
At about 19 by 12 by 10 inches it is a large car. It is best for older kids and teens with open space to run it, and adult supervision is sensible around LiPo batteries.
What comes in the box?
The car, a radio controller and two LiPo batteries are included per the listing. Check whether a charger is in the box before buying, since the specs do not say.
Are spare parts available?
The listing gives no parts support details. Deerc sells replacement batteries and some parts, but confirm availability for the DE60 before relying on it for long-term repairs.
When is it cheapest?
Only Walmart lists it new at $79.99 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no competing price to wait for. Watch for holiday sales at Walmart rather than store-to-store discounts.
Where is the Deerc 1:8 Scale Monster Truck 4WD All Terrain RC Car with 2 Batteries cheapest?

What do buyers say about the Deerc 1:8 Scale Monster Truck 4WD All Terrain RC Car with 2 Batteries?
