Our take on the DEERVALLEY Liberty 60 in. x 30 in. Rectangular Alcove Soaking Acrylic Bathtub with Right-Hand Drain

The DEERVALLEY Liberty is a 60 in. x 30 in. alcove soaking bathtub in acrylic, with a right-hand drain and a slip-resistant floor. It holds 37 gallons and soaks to about 9 in. of water depth, so it fits a standard alcove and gives a deeper soak than many builder-grade tubs. The wall-mount faucet requirement means the plumbing goes in the wall above the tub, not on the deck. At $459 at Home Depot as of November 6, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Best forBathroom remodels with a standard 60 in. alcoveShoppers who want a deeper soak without a jetted tubHouseholds with one main batherBuyers on a budget who want acrylic over cast iron
Pros
  • 37-gallon capacity and about 9 in. soaking depth give a fuller soak than shallow tubs
  • Slip-resistant floor adds grip on a smooth acrylic surface
  • Standard 60 x 30 in. footprint fits most alcove openings
  • Acrylic is lighter than cast iron or steel, which eases a one- or two-person install
  • Right-hand drain matches common rough-in layouts
Cons
  • Wall-mount faucet required, so deck-mount or tub-filler setups won't work without changes
  • No certifications or listings, so local code approval is not guaranteed
  • Acrylic can flex and scratch more than enameled cast iron
  • Only one new price listed, so there is little price history to judge the deal
  • No jets or heater; it is a soaking tub only

Questions and answers

Is $459 a good price for this tub?
It is the only new price listed, $459 at Home Depot as of November 6, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. Acrylic alcove tubs of this size commonly sell in the $400 to $700 range, so it sits at the low end.
Does it fit a standard alcove?
Yes. It measures 60 in. long, 30 in. wide and 18.11 in. high, the common alcove size. Check your rough opening and drain position before ordering.
What faucet do I need?
A wall-mount faucet, since there is no deck for a tub filler. Plan the valve and spout rough-in before the walls close.
How much water does it hold?
37 gallons, with a soaking depth of about 9 in. That is deeper than many builder-grade tubs of the same footprint.
Is the floor slip-resistant?
Yes, it has a slip-resistant tub floor. The surface is still acrylic, so use a mat if you are unsteady.
Does it have jets or a heater?
No. It is a soaking tub only, with no jets, blower or heater.
