Its 71 x 35 x 23 inch footprint gives a long, roomy soak, and the acrylic shell keeps the weight down compared with cast iron or stone. The best new price is $1,655.78 at Malibu Home as of November 6, 2026, with three stores listing it new.

Questions and answers

Is the Pfeiffer a soaking tub or a jetted tub?
It is listed as a soaking tub, so there are no jets despite the spec sheet's jets field. Plan on a quiet soak rather than hydrotherapy.
What are the exact dimensions?
The exterior is 71 inches long, 35 inches wide and 23 inches high. Allow a little extra for the deck and framing around a drop-in install.
Does it come with a drain?
Yes, it has a built-in center drain. Check that your rough-in plumbing lines up with a center drain before framing.
Can it be installed in an alcove?
It is a drop-in tub, so it needs a framed deck or surround. It does not have an apron or tile flange for a three-wall alcove on its own.
Is $1,655.78 a good price?
That is the best new price across three stores as of November 6, 2026, at Malibu Home. Compare it against the other two listings before ordering, since freight can change the total.
How much does an acrylic tub like this weigh?
Acrylic shells are far lighter than cast iron, typically under 100 pounds empty. The filled weight still depends on your framing and floor support.
Where is the Malibu Home Pfeiffer Rectangle Bathtub 71" x 35" cheapest?
