Our take on the Malibu Home Coronado 72" x 36" Drop In/Undermount Air Bathtub

The Malibu Home Coronado is a 72-inch acrylic soaking tub that installs either drop-in or undermount, with a centered drain and an ergonomic interior shaped for one bather. Despite the "Air Bathtub" name, the listing specs show no jets and no heater, so it is a plain soaker rather than a whirlpool. Its $3,065.20 price at Wayfair as of November 6, 2026 is the only new price available, so there is no recent range to compare it against. Buyers should confirm the air system with the seller before ordering, because the name and the specs disagree.

Pros
  • Large 72-inch footprint gives a long soak
  • Acrylic keeps the tub relatively light for its size

Cons
  • Specs list no jets and no heater, despite the Air Bathtub name
  • No headrest or integrated seat
  • Only one new price available, so value is hard to judge
  • 22-inch height and 48-inch width need a large, reinforced surround
