This is a complete hub-and-drum unit for 3,500-lb Dexter E-Z Lube trailer axles with #84 spindles. It ships with both bearings and races, a grease seal, cap, wheel bolts and lug nuts, so it bolts on without a parts run. The E-Z Lube cap lets you grease the bearings with a grease gun without pulling the hub. It fits 10 x 2-1/4 inch electric or hydraulic drum brakes and has cooling fins on the drum.

Will this fit my 3,500-lb axle?
It fits Dexter 3,500-lb E-Z Lube axles with #84 spindles and a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. Check your spindle number and bolt pattern before ordering. The 1,750-lb rating is per side.
Do I need to pack the bearings?
Yes. The bearings ship dry, so pack them with grease or use the E-Z Lube fitting to fill the hub after assembly. Don't run them dry.
What's in the box?
Inner bearing L68149 with race L68111, outer bearing L44649 with race L44610, grease seal 10-19, grease cap, wheel bolts and lug nuts. The drum and hub come assembled.
Does it work with my brake setup?
It takes 10 x 2-1/4 inch drum brakes and works with electric or hydraulic setups. Match the brake size on your axle before installing.
Should I replace both sides at once?
If both drums show similar wear, yes. Uneven braking and pull to one side are common when only one side is fresh.
