Our take on the Door Knob with Lock

The KLLOQUE is a zinc-alloy door knob that unlocks four ways: fingerprint, passcode, app over Bluetooth, or a backup key. It stores 20 fingerprints and 20 passcodes, auto-locks after 5 seconds, and locks out for 1 minute after 5 wrong codes. It fits doors 1-3/8 to 2-4/25 inches thick and carries an IP66 water rating. At $29.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Best forBedrooms and interior doors where privacy mattersRenters who want keyless entry without rewiringAirbnb and guest-room hosts granting temporary accessAnyone who wants a cheap first smart lock
Pros
  • Four unlock methods, including a physical key backup
  • Passage, entrance and privacy modes switch by rotating the thumbprint reader
  • 20 fingerprint and 20 passcode slots cover a household or small rental
  • IP66 rating suits covered exterior doors and humid climates
  • Installs with a screwdriver on standard door thicknesses
Cons
  • Wi-Fi control needs a separate gateway; the app works only over Bluetooth
  • No mention of a keypad, so passcodes are likely entered in the app
  • 1-minute lockout after 5 wrong codes can lock out a forgetful owner
  • Zinc-alloy knob body is basic hardware, not a deadbolt-grade lock

Questions and answers

Is the KLLOQUE smart knob worth $29.99?
At $29.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheapest ways to add fingerprint entry to a bedroom or rental. Expect knob-level security, not deadbolt-level. It is a fair buy if you want convenience and privacy more than fortress security.
Does it work with Wi-Fi without extra hardware?
No. App control runs over Bluetooth only, within range of the door. Remote Wi-Fi control and guest access from another city require a separately sold gateway.
Will it fit my door?
It fits doors from 1-3/8 to 2-4/25 inches thick, which covers most standard interior and exterior doors. Check your door thickness and backset before ordering.
How many fingerprints and codes can it store?
Up to 20 fingerprints and 20 passcodes, stored locally on the lock rather than uploaded. That is enough for a family plus regular guests, cleaners or delivery staff.
What happens if the battery dies or I forget the code?
Backup keys are included in the box, so you can still get in mechanically. After 5 wrong passcodes the lock pauses for 1 minute before accepting input again.
When is it cheapest?
Only one store listed a new price as of November 4, 2026, so there is no price history to time a drop against. Watch for seasonal sales at Amazon rather than waiting on a known low.
Where is the Door Knob with Lock cheapest?
At Amazon, for $29.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Door Knob with Lock?
2 stores we checked sell it, including Amazon, SmartHomeValueHub.
