Questions and answers

Is the ECHO LM-2119SP worth $549?: It is a fair price for a 21-inch self-propelled mower with a 190cc Briggs & Stratton engine and a 5-year warranty. If you don't need self-propulsion or a long warranty, cheaper push mowers will do the job.
Does it have electric start?: No. It uses a pull-start recoil with Briggs & Stratton ReadyStart, which removes the primer and choke steps but still requires a pull.
How big a yard can it handle?: ECHO rates it for up to about an acre. The 0.3-gallon tank is small, so expect to refuel during larger jobs.
Can it mulch, bag and side discharge?: Yes. It is a 3-in-1 mower with an 81L rear bag, a mulch plug setup and a side discharge chute.
How does it compare with a push mower?: The rear-wheel variable-speed drive takes most of the effort out on slopes and thick grass, but it adds weight and cost. On flat, small lawns a push mower is simpler and cheaper.
What cutting heights does it offer?: Seven positions from 1.25 to 4 inches, adjusted at the deck.
Where is the ECHO 21-inch LM-2119SP cheapest?: At eBay, for $480.00, 20% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the ECHO 21-inch LM-2119SP?: Rated 3.8 out of 5 from 1,362 ratings.
Where can I buy the ECHO 21-inch LM-2119SP?: 5 stores we checked sell it, including eBay, RCPW, Sohars All Season Mower Service, Arlington Power Equipment, The Home Depot.
