Questions and answers

Is this bed frame worth it?
For a low-cost queen platform that skips the box spring, yes. Expect a metal frame with a wood finish, not furniture-grade solid wood, so judge it on price and clearance rather than long-term heirloom quality.
Do I need a box spring with this frame?
No. It is a platform frame, so a queen mattress sits directly on the slats. A box spring would only add height and is not required.
What mattress size fits it?
A standard queen mattress, about 60 by 80 inches. The frame is 76.9 in wide and 80.4 in long, so the mattress sits inside the rails with a little overhang room.
How much clearance is under the bed?
The frame is 13.8 inches high, which leaves roughly a foot of space under the rails. That fits most standard storage bins and low boxes.
What is in the box?
The frame parts, slats and hardware for assembly. The mattress, box spring and bedding are not included, since this is sold as frame only.
When is the price lowest?
Budget bed frames like this tend to dip during major sales events and back-to-school season. Check the price history on this page and compare across stores before buying.
