Is the B6.2 worth it over the original Debut B6?

Yes for most buyers. The 2.0 adds a new tweeter, a front port and a stiffer cabinet, which tightens the bass and improves placement flexibility. The original is only worth it at a clear discount.

Do I need a separate amplifier?

Yes. These are passive speakers with no built-in amp or Bluetooth, so you need a stereo amp or AV receiver rated around 30 to 120 W per channel.

How do they compare with the KEF Q150 or Wharfedale Diamond 12.1?

The B6.2 digs deeper in bass and costs less. The Q150 offers a more open, precise soundstage, and the Diamond 12.1 is warmer. Choose based on room size and taste.

Can I place them close to a wall?

Yes. The front-firing port makes them more forgiving near walls than rear-ported designs, though a few inches of clearance still helps.

One pair of speakers, a grille for each, and rubber feet. Speaker wire and stands are not included.
