Is the FEASTO 28-inch griddle worth it?

It is a reasonable pick if you want a cart-mounted flat top at a lower price than name-brand 28-inch griddles. You trade some burner count and finish quality for the lower cost.

How does it compare with a 3-burner griddle?

A third burner gives finer heat control and a wider cool zone for holding food. The 2-burner FEASTO is simpler and cheaper but less flexible for multi-item cooking.

Does it need seasoning?

Yes. The steel top should be coated with cooking oil and heated before first use, and re-oiled after cleaning, to build a nonstick layer and prevent rust.

What size propane tank does it use?

It runs on a standard 20-pound propane tank, which is not included. A full tank typically gives many hours of cooking at medium heat.

How big is the cooking surface?

It is 458 square inches, enough for about 12 to 16 burger patties or a full breakfast for a family.

Griddles like this usually drop in price during spring grilling sales and end-of-summer clearance. Check the price history before buying.

Our take on the FEASTO 28" 2-Burner Propane Gas Griddle Grill with Cart

The FEASTO 28" 2-Burner Propane Griddle is a cart-mounted flat-top grill with 458 square inches of steel cooking surface and two propane burners. It is aimed at backyard cooks who want griddle cooking for burgers, breakfast and stir-fries rather than a grate grill. Adult assembly is required and tools are included. No battery is used, so ignition and burners run without electronics.
