Questions and answers

Is the FED FITNESS 45 lb set worth it?
At $69.99 at Target as of November 4, 2026, it is a cheap way to get adjustable steel weights and a connector bar. It suits light total-body training, not heavy lifting.
How much weight does each dumbbell hold?
The set is rated 45 lbs total across the two pieces, so each dumbbell holds roughly half that when loaded evenly. The connector lets you load both sides as one bar.

Yes. The included connector links the two handles into a single bar for presses, rows and curls. Expect a short bar, since each piece is about 18.5 inches.
How does it compare with dial or selector dumbbells?
Selector sets change weight in seconds but cost several times more. This set uses plates you load by hand, which is slower but far cheaper.
What is included in the box?
The listing describes two dumbbell pieces and a connector. Check the package contents at checkout for collars and plate count before buying.
When is the best time to buy?
Only one new price, $69.99 at Target as of November 4, 2026, is listed, so there is no recent range to time a drop against. Watch for holiday sales on home fitness gear.
