Is the Flex 24V reciprocating saw worth it?

It is a strong pick if you already own Flex 24V batteries. The brushless motor, orbital action and vibration suppression are features usually found on pricier saws, and $198.89 at eBay as of November 4, 2026 is the lowest new price among the 2 stores listing it.

Does the kit include a battery?

No. The kit ships without a battery or charger, so budget for a Flex 24V pack. Flex's claim of up to 50 cuts through 4x4s assumes a 5.0Ah battery.

How does it compare with the non-brushless Flex 24V saw?

Flex rates this brushless motor at 20% more power than its standard 24V motor. You also get orbital action and vibration suppression, which the base model does not list.

It handles wood and metal, with a 19.3-inch cutting depth and a 9-inch reciprocating blade included. Orbital action is best saved for wood; switch it off for metal.

When is the price lowest?

Cordless tool kits usually dip during holiday sales and when a new generation launches. Track the price history here and compare both stores before buying.

Our take on the Flex 24V Brushless Cordless Reciprocating Saw Kit

The Flex 24V Brushless Reciprocating Saw Kit is a cordless demolition saw built around a brushless motor that Flex rates at 20% more power than its standard 24V motor, with a 0-3000 rpm no-load speed and orbital action for faster wood cuts. It adds vibration suppression, a keyless blade eject and a 9-inch thick-metal blade in the box. The kit ships without a battery, so the 5.0Ah pack behind Flex's 50-cut 4x4 claim is a separate buy. At $198.89 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is the lowest new price among the 2 stores listing it.
