Our take on the Four Hands Brinton Square Coffee Table

The Four Hands Brinton is a 55-inch square coffee table in rustic oak veneer over wood, built on a pedestal base and made in Mexico. Its 16-inch height and 120 lb weight capacity suit a large living room seating group, and the square top gives four people room to set down drinks. At $1,369.70 at Furnitureland South as of November 5, 2026, it is the lowest of the three new prices we track. It is a heavy piece at about 142 lbs, and assembly is required unless white-glove delivery is chosen.

Questions and answers

Is $1,369.70 a good price for the Brinton table?
It is the lowest of the three new prices we track as of November 5, 2026, at Furnitureland South. Four Hands furniture rarely discounts deeply, so a price near the bottom of its range is a fair buy.
How big is the Brinton coffee table?
It is 55 inches square and 16 inches tall. That footprint suits a large sectional or a seating group of four or more.
Does it need assembly?
Yes, assembly is required. White-glove delivery includes assembly, so choose that option if you do not want to attach the pedestal base yourself.
Is the top solid oak?
No. The top is thick oak veneer over wood, finished in rustic oak. Expect natural grain variation rather than a uniform surface.
How much weight can it hold?
The listed weight capacity is 120 lbs. That covers trays, books and decor, but it is not a table to sit or stand on.
How heavy is it to move?
The table weighs about 142 lbs. Plan for two people and clear a path before delivery.
