Our take on the Furrion Aurora Sun 65"

The Furrion Aurora Sun 65" is a 4K HDR10 outdoor smart TV built for patios and bright rooms, with a weather-sealed design and a high-brightness panel. It runs at 60Hz with three HDMI 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and CEC, and weighs 106 lb without legs. Its best new price is $3,799.99 at Best Buy as of November 7, 2026, with three stores listing it new. That is premium money for a 65-inch 4K set; indoor TVs with better processing cost far less.

Questions and answers

Is the Furrion Aurora Sun 65" worth it?
If you need a TV that stays visible outdoors in daylight and can take weather, few 65-inch sets do that. If it will live indoors, a standard 4K TV with better contrast costs much less than $3,799.99.
Can it be left outside in the rain?
Furrion builds the Aurora line for outdoor use with a weather-sealed body. It is meant for patios and covered outdoor areas, not full exposure to sprinklers or standing water.
Does it support 4K at 120Hz or variable refresh rate?
No. The panel is 60Hz with no VRR or ALLM, so consoles and PCs are capped at 60fps and get no tear-free sync.
What is in the box?
The TV, a stand and a remote are the standard contents. Confirm the included mount or legs with the store before buying, since mounting hardware varies.
Can I mount it on a wall or patio bracket?
Yes. It is VESA-mountable, but at 106 lb without legs it needs a heavy-duty bracket rated well above that weight.
When is it cheapest?
Outdoor TVs see the deepest discounts around spring and early summer, before patio season, and again after Labor Day. Track the price history before buying at full price.
Where is the Furrion Aurora Sun 65" cheapest?
At Best Buy, for $3,799.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Furrion Aurora Sun 65"?
3 stores we checked sell it, including Best Buy, Newegg, Weather Proof Televisions.
